Sunny days have been few and far between in Baltimore this past week (and all over the country apparently, as my mom has the same complaint about Michigan), but I managed to get out during a brief 15 minute break in the cloud cover and shoot a few pictures of the backyard garden that Dan and I have been slowly pulling together.
We built a two-tiered stone garden and filled it with flowers. On the left side are cucumber and squash plants that are really starting to grow and will hopefully begin making their way up the trellises very soon.
I got a Topsy Turvy as a Christmas gift and we planted it full of vegetables and herbs. Our upside down tomato plant has really taken off and I cannot wait for these little babies to be fully grown and delicious. Also in the Topsy Turvy are sweet peppers, oregano, basil, parsley, rosemary and thyme. No sage, though.
And we have lots
(How great do my spray painted pots look? I love them!)
Ty loves spending time out there.
