If you are a woman and an eligible voter and you do not vote today, I don’t have time for you.

This isn’t about reproductive rights or single issue voting. This is about the fact that this year, this election cycle, women’s voices have been repeatedly silenced, ignored and even punished. I know it might feel like your vote doesn’t count for much in some states, but voting is about making our voices heard, and inserting ourselves into the political conversation whether politicians want us there or not. Your vote is a way of giving a big middle finger to an establishment that too often says you don’t matter. It’s about asserting that you are in fact equal and deserving of inclusion. Because that dude waiting in line behind you to vote? Your vote counts just as much as his does. So don’t stay home and be silent. Go vote and make your voice heard.
